From the Artistic Director Although we have had a firm booking at Twelfth Night Theatre since last November; held our launch there for both our 2006 Shows; and had printed posters to that effect, we have now been denied the right to use that Booking. The phenomenon that is Menopause the Musical has been playing at Twelfth Night since February, and shows no sign of closing. While the QMT Committee feels very strongly that our booking should have been honoured, our primary consideration to our cast and clients is to present Anything Goes somewhere within the planned time frame. Therefore, it is with great pleasure that we announce that our Season of Anything Goes will play at the Theatre of Cannon Hill Anglican College, at the corner of Junction and Krupp Roads, Cannon Hill, from October 25 to November 5. This is a superior venue with a raked auditorium ensuring that every seat is a good seat; and there is plenty of parking space. The School is easy to find, either from Wynnum Road (just past the Morningside shopping area): or across the Gateway Bridge (right into Lytton Road, past Creek Road on the left; and the next is Junction Road).
My fellow production team members – Julie Whiting (Music Director) and Maranne McQuade (Choreographer) – are working with me towards a wonderful, bright and happy Show. The extremely talented cast will be accompanied by a large orchestra. Denise Cahill – Production Director |
